Kratos’ sounding rocket team members will be able to experience the full sounding rocket design and mission life-cycle from conception, planning, design, fabrication, assembly, integration and test, culminating in the excitement of a Sounding Rocket mission launch. Sounding rocket missions offer the opportunity to study critical scientific phenomena and technologies of interest with greater speed and reduced cost to many customers. Kratos regularly launches vehicles all over the world!

Kratos is committed to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education and supporting the next generation of scientists and engineers. Kratos is supporting the Wallops community through a series of STEM engagement events annually, providing students in the Wallops and surrounding areas hands on experience in engineering problem solving by working directly with Kratos engineers.
