Fuel cools internal components and lubricates bearings, eliminating the need for lubricating oil.

Spartan engines benefit from easy starting, rapid burning, and complete combustion using commonly available fuels (JP4, JP5, JP8, JP10, JET-A, JET-A1, etc.).

Kratos’ team consists of subject matter experts in various disciplines with experience in all aspects of turbojet engines, from clean-sheet design through performance testing, vehicle integration, flight testing, and production manufacturing. The Spartan Line of turbojet engines is designed for military applications. The robust structure of the engine makes survival and operation in harsh environments possible. Shock and vibration loads and extreme temperature exposure are normal environmental conditions for Kratos’ engines.
