Kratos Names Clem Greek Director of Army Aviation and Unmanned Aircraft Systems Initiatives for Technology and Training

SAN DIEGO, July 7, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that Clement “Clem” Greek has joined the company as Director of Army Aviation and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Initiatives for Kratos Technology & Training Solutions (TTS).

“Clem brings over thirty years of experience in aircraft simulation, training, and business development to Kratos,” said Phil Carrai, President of Kratos TTS. “His experience in major acquisition programs from concept visualization to development, production, fielding and sustainment will bring exceptional strength and expertise to the Kratos team.”

Greek will focus on further building Kratos’ partnerships with Army Aviation and Training Commands, including customers such as PM Black Hawk, Utility Helicopter Program Office and TRADOC, as well as UAS training systems across all of the armed services. Kratos TTS has developed numerous training solutions for the Army and other uniformed services, ranging from full-fidelity trainers for air, ground and sea platforms to advanced Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) packages.

Prior to joining Kratos, Greek was Senior Director for Business Development, Unmanned Systems at General Dynamics, which he joined in January 2007. Prior to General Dynamics, Greek was Vice President for Business Development at Anteon with work spanning customers throughout the DoD. Greek’s career includes experience and leadership as a member of the U.S. Army for over 22 years, and industry for over 11 years focused on Simulation and Training. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and is an Executive Committee Member of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) as well as a member of Army Aviation Association of America, Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, and the National Defense Industrial Association. Greek will be based in Kratos’ Huntsville, Alabama, office, an important center for Army Aviation operations.
