Kratos Miss Distance Scoring Sensor

Miss Distance Scoring Sensor

The Miss Distance Scoring Sensor (MDSS) is a Doppler radar sensor on flight test vehicles that sends real-time scoring data to the Automated Ground Scoring Station (AGSS). It reliably measures up to 90 projectiles per minute within 75 feet of aerial vehicles, including ballistic and cruise missiles and targets. Part of the Kratos Scoring System Suite, it enables rapid, accurate scoring via AutoScore for air-to-air, air-to-ground, and air-to-sea missions up to Mach 7.
