WFI to Speak at Unique Identification (UID) Forum on April 19 & 20

SAN DIEGO, April 18, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ — WFI (Nasdaq: WFII), a global leader in the design, deployment, and management of wireless communication networks, information technology solutions and security systems, announced today that Pam Rooney, Vice President of WFI’s AIT Solutions Group within the Company’s Government Division, will speak at the Unique Identification (UID) Forum taking place in Providence, RI on April 19th and 20th. Rooney, a seasoned UID and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) veteran, will discuss advanced data requirements for UID in two separate sessions taking place on April 19th and April 20th.

The UID Forum is designed to provide practical guidance to help educate military program managers and U.S. Department of Defense contractors, particularly small to mid-sized contractors and all acquisition programs, to achieve successful UID implementation as required by the DoD Policy Memoranda and the issuance of the Final UID DFARS Rule (dated April 22, 2005). Conference attendees will learn how to achieve successful implementation through sessions conducted by the Policy makers on various topics relating to UID.
