Contract Vehicles

Kratos maintains a number of key contract vehicles and task orders for the federal government. Kratos is widely recognized as a highly visible player among the leading government contractors for the quality of our work, our skilled professionals and technicians, as well as our partnerships and long-term customer relationships.

SeaPort-NxG

Kratos is a diversified provider of advanced engineering and program management services to key federal government agencies, with an emphasis on serving the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Areas of specialization include engineering and program management services.

TETRAS

KTTS holds a contract for the Test & Evaluation Technologies for Ranges, Armaments & Spectrum (TETRAS) program. The USAF 5-year multiple IDIQ award is targeted at supplying products and capabilities in support of the DoD-wide Test Enterprise, most typically applied to C4ISR, munitions, electronic combat, and spectrum requirements. A broad range of solutions satisfying end-customer requirements can leverage the TETRAS contract vehicle.

ATS-2

Kratos’ Defense & Rocket Support Services Division holds an Aerial Target Systems 2 (ATS-2), Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This is a combined firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order contract with a ceiling of $93.3 million, and a five-year period of performance ending in June 2023.

Training System Contract IV (TSC IV)

Kratos Training Solutions (KTS) holds a NAWCTSD Training System Contract IV (TSC IV), Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. TSC IV encompasses the procurement of Training System design, development, production, test and evaluation, delivery, modification, and support. Awarded in November 2018 with a ceiling amount of $980M. The ordering period is for 5 years with one (1) 2-year option ordering period and two (2) 1-year option ordering periods, for a potential ordering period of 9 years. If all option ordering periods are exercised, the ordering period will end by November 2027 with all performance complete by 2029.

USV FoS IDIQ-MAC

Kratos Unmanned Systems Division holds a contract to participate in the Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity – Multiple Award Contract (IDIQ-MAC) to support the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) Family of Systems (FoS). The USV FoS includes platforms and systems that comprise the U.S. Navy’s future unmanned surface fleet and is intended for use to support, maintain, and modernize Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) systems and subsystems to meet current and future operational requirements for Unmanned Maritime Systems under Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants.

Engaging Kratos

Almost all teaming and subcontracting activities are accomplished through active marketing. Kratos typically will seek small business teammates well in advance of the release of an RFP. Small businesses interested in engaging with Kratos need to articulate the following:

  • Unique capabilities relevant to a specific contract or RFP
  • Past performance that is relevant to a forthcoming RFP
  • Knowledge of a specific opportunity
  • Knowledge of customers and their needs

Kratos seeks to engage small businesses not only as subcontractors, but will also work with select qualified small businesses in pursuing strategic small business set-asides where Kratos can bring strength to the team. Primarily, we seek companies that are committed to building long-term relationships.

Kratos is committed to maintaining its reputation as a company with the highest standards of business conduct. The Company requires its employees, agents, contractors, and suppliers to behave in an ethical manner and to comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. In support of this goal, Kratos has an Ethics and Compliance program, which includes: codes of conduct for employees, contractors, and vendors, state-of-the-art, interactive compliance training, periodic signed disclosures and certifications of key personnel, monitoring of fraud hotline, with investigation and resolution of inquiries, and annual audit, reporting, and updates.
