PT6 / PW100 Engine Overhaul & Repair

Kratos overhauls and repairs Pratt & Whitney PT6A, PT6T, and PW100 engines, as well as offers 24/7 customer service and part sales. Kratos is certified by the FAA, EASA, DOT, DGCA, and Transport Canada. With more than 250 years of combined experience with PT6 turbine engines, Kratos technicians are factory trained on both engines and airframes to help ensure the finished product meets or exceeds airframe installation requirements. Our parts inventory allows us to offer more competitive pricing and shorter turn times.

24/7 Field Services
24/7 Field Services

Kratos’ FAA certified and licensed technicians have an average of 20 years of experience and are available to assist 24/7. PT6 field support is provided through hot section inspections, power section repairs, gear box repairs, as well as troubleshooting. We also offer specialized training courses upon request.

Kratos’ inventory of engines available for outright purchase or exchange allows us to support our customers and reduce turn times. Our selection of rental engines allows our customers to keep flying, while their engine is being repaired/overhauled.

Kratos has a large inventory of PT6A and PT6T parts and components for sale. With over 10,000 line items in inventory, Kratos has almost every component and part that can be replaced at field level for maintenance practices, allowing customers to have less downtime than their competitors.

Programs

ATTAM

Kratos' Florida Turbines Technologies group in Jupiter, Florida, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $50,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Advanced Turbine Technologies for Affordable Mission (ATTAM)- capability Phase I. The mission of the ATTAM Phase I program is to develop, demonstrate, and transition advanced turbine propulsion, power, and thermal technologies that provides improvement in affordable mission capability. Work will be performed in Jupiter, Florida, and is expected to be completed by December 2026.

Upper Stage Engine Technology

In 2010, Kratos, in conjunction with Aerojet Rocketdyne, delivered a liquid hydrogen turbopump to the AFRL test facility at Edwards Air Force Base in California. This was part of the Upper Stage Engine Turbopump (USET) Program, which provides testing and data collection for rocket engines. Read more about Kratos’ involvement in this innovative program.
