With a long history of successful execution of commercial, military, civil and Intelligence Community satellite ground segment programs the Kratos family of solutions providers has the technical and management expertise to provide solutions in an affordable, timely, and thorough manner. Kratos has integrated more satellite ground systems than any other provider in the world. Some of which include the multi-mission Command and Control System – Consolidated (CCS-C) Program, which flies all of the Air Force’s Milsatcom Satellites (DSCS, Milstar, WGS, and AEHF) at Schriever AFB. Our commitment has led to the success of the DMSP IPACS ground system, TIROS PACS ground system, GOES N-Q ground system, as well as a key role on the Honeywell AFSCN SCNC Team and many other programs around the globe.

The EPOCH Integrated Product Suite (IPS) Fleet Management solution enables a more efficient and economical alternative to costly command and monitoring practices. EPOCH IPS is an all-in-one orbital command and control system that can be operated from a user’s desktop to provide dynamic and comprehensive Operational and Space Situational Awareness.
Satellite ground networks are migrating to lower-cost, interoperable IP-based technologies. The benefits in cost, performance and interoperability are tremendous, however these newer systems also bring with them additional cyber security risks. As the trend toward end-to-end IP increases, so does the attack surface, placing mission operations and sensitive data at increased risk of cyber compromise.
CyberC4 is an integrated family of products designed for the unique cyber defense needs of satellite environments including situational awareness, insider and external threat protection, system hardening and active defenses for total protection from cyber attacks.
Signal Processing & Data Communications
Kratos’ RT Logic subsidiary is the leading supplier of innovative signal processing and channel simulation systems for the aerospace communications industry. Kratos RT Logic has fielded more than 3,000 systems since 1997 including more than 50 successful Satellite Link Simulation and Test Equipment projects. Some 85 percent of US space missions use Kratos RT Logic signal processing and data communications solutions during the test, launch or on-orbit phase, making it the most cost-effective, lowest-risk supplier for off-the-shelf and customized solutions that range from RF/IF receivers and modem products to TT&C front end solutions, high-rate mission data systems and much more.
Signal Monitoring, Interference Detection and Geolocation
Kratos’ SAT subsidiary is the leader in developing and delivering innovative Radio Frequency (RF) interference detection and geolocation solutions. Its Monics® RF carrier monitoring, SAT-DSA® RF interference spectrum analyzer and satID™ signal geolocation systems are the most widely used RF interference mitigation products in the industry, providing accurate signal interference detection within minutes and the ability to locate interference sources to within a few kilometers. In addition, SAT provides unique and transformative ways to manage space and spectrum assets, including traditional spectrum management capabilities, coupled with cutting-edge technologies in RF analysis, interference detection and geolocation, allowing for unmatched Situational Awareness, Service Level Agreement (SLA) enforcement and Quality of Service (QoS).
Defense, government and commercial enterprises must be constantly vigilant regarding the health and availability of their space-and terrestrial-based communications assets. Kratos’ Integral Systems SATCOM Solutions is the leading provider of the lightest, most efficient, and cost-effective Block Upconverters (BUCs) and Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs) on the market. In addition, to meet the tactical communications needs of the warfighter, we provide ruggedized, deployable communications packages that are easy to operate, maintain and transport. Our full line of battle-tested SATCOM Ultra Small Aperture Terminal (USAT) and Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) systems, Flyaway Kits and Maritime Antennas are deployed by the United States military throughout the world.
