Key capabilities include monitoring fiscal controls across appropriations, tracking execution year issues, executing directed budgetary reprogramming, as
well as submitting and coordinating changes to the President’s budget. Our experienced professionals are also skilled at developing and delivering briefs to Navy leadership and preparing key correspondence documents.
Kratos financial analysts support the execution and monitoring of program funds, prepare financial documents to allocate funding, and monitor program expenditures and ensure financial accounting systems accurately reflect program commitments and expenditures.
Fleet Interface
Kratos professionals use extensive military experience to act as representatives of Fleet interests to the outside world. Kratos staff develops and delivers briefs to Navy leadership, prepares formal documentation of DoD milestones and supporting briefs, and produces key correspondence documents. Additionally, Kratos professionals represent resource sponsor interests to NAVSEA, the Fleet, the Joint Community, Congressional offices, research labs, and industry.
Budget and Financial Services
Kratos has an extensive background in administering military budgets and financial concerns. Kratos provides comprehensive budget and financial management ranging from early development and financial planning to budget execution and maintenance. Kratos professionals maintain the corporate knowledge necessary to help our customers navigate the changes that often accompany transitioning military staffs.
Kratos professionals develop and track three budgets simultaneously: (1) execution year, (2) president’s budget, and (3) the program objective memorandum (POM). We provide financial support services to many customers in the Pentagon and other locations with full knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) construct, and work in earnest to develop accurate and defendable budgets for review by Navy leadership.
Additionally, Kratos professionals monitor fiscal controls across appropriations. This includes an awareness of significant budgetary milestones and any subtle process modifications being considered or planned for near-term implementation. This knowledge has equipped Kratos personnel to be forward thinking and provide more accurate and well-rounded recommendations to support client needs.
