| Position Summary:
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has an immediate need for Instructional Designers to design US Navy courseware. The designers provide support for the instructional design and development of web-based technical training curriculum. Designers should have demonstrated experience designing engaging, interactive performance-based elearning.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: writing instructional storyboards for web-based reusable learning object (RLO) courseware, designing technical lab materials, designing instructional objectives, strategies, and assessment requirements, interfacing with subject-matter experts (SME’s), and researching and consulting technical GFI to determine content needed for web-based curriculum development and lab materials. Designers will review developed courseware, and work collaboratively with the development team to ensure training aligns with all Navy requirements and all pertinent standards.

| Qualifications |
| Skills Required:
Experience in a military or corporate training environment designing e-learning or computer-based courses. 5+ years of creating technology-delivered courseware focused on teaching highly technical content.
Demonstrated experience designing interactive storyboards for web-based training.
Experience with Navy Radio Frequency Communication and/or Information Technology (IT) content and domain preferred.
Excellent writing, communication, analytical and instructional design skills.
Experience working in a focused, dynamic, face-paced team environment with accountable deadlines.
Demonstrated experience consulting with clients and SME’s.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word and PowerPoint, and experience with graphics and screen capture software.
Experience with web or e-learning production, Learning Management systems (LMS), SCORM, Section 508, and common web development applications.
Education: MA in Educational or Instructional Technology.

US Citizenship
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
