Kratos PSS Division on Award-winning Project Team

Houston Community College project wins Gold Medal Plaque of Honor from Building of America

Kratos Public Safety & Security provided fully integrated security and building automation systems for Houston Community College (HCC) as part of a recent campus development project. Kratos worked with HCC to determine the particular application needs for each of the installations. “Throughout the process, we worked very closely with college personnel to ensure that the installed systems met no only their functional needs but also complied with established standards and specifications,” said Karen Head, Sales Manager, Kratos PSS-Houston. “As each project utilized different design team consultants, considerable coordination for each location was required.” Now Kratos is providing full customer support, including warranty, maintenance and service to all sites.

The HCC project received recognition from the Building of America Network, a showcase of the nation’s most important and unique new construction and renovation projects. The Network allows decision makers to review the best projects within a specific region and industry, and learn about the companies that were responsible for the success of those projects.

Kratos recognition for the HCC project is one example of why Kratos PSS was ranked 19 in Security Dealer magazine’s yearly listing of the nation’s top 100 system integrators. Further details about the HCC project are in the Building of America online article.
